Who we are

Tênis do Brasil is an independent tennis news portal, founded in 2026. No ties to ATP, WTA, CBT, ITF, Grand Slams or sponsors that could influence coverage.

How we produce content

AI pipeline with layered automated review. We collect official sources only for news; Wikipedia supplies structured data (calendar, draws, scores), not commercial portal text. The TennisExplorer aggregator stopped being collected on 19 August 2026.

Legal policy (operational cut)

We prioritize zero lawsuit risk over volume. Commercial portals no longer feed the pipeline; sensitive topics (unofficial doping, minors, honor) are unpublished or blocked. Four reviewers include alegal gate: when in doubt, we do not publish.

Columnists

Three fictional editorial columnists (AI), labeled on site. They do not represent real people.

Minors and juniors

The junior section is temporarily suspended. Profiles of athletes under 18 are not indexed; we avoid civil names and exact birth dates.

Corrections

Contact with subject "Correção – [title]". Review within 48 hours.

Athletes and privacy

Public sporting facts only. No private life or unconfirmed medical speculation. Athlete photos require approval of source, license and editorial context; archive photos are labeled.

Services run by the same people

The person who edits this site also runs TennisRank(tennisrank.io), a ranking service for amateur tennis. The block on the home page is declared as such — it is not a commercial partnership, no payment is involved, and the link is marked nofollow.

The rule we apply: TennisRank never appears in editorial copy, is never cited as a source of data or rankings in an article, and appears at most once per page. If we ever compare amateur ranking services, it is held to the same standard as the others, with this disclosure at the top of the piece.
