Guto Miguel
Guto Miguel is Brazilian tennis’ newest phenomenon. Born in São Paulo on March 8, 2009, he won the boys’ singles title at Roland Garros in 2026 at age 17 — becoming one of the youngest Brazilian players to capture a Grand Slam title at any level.
The triumph in Paris capped a brilliant junior season: Guto reached the semifinals of the Australian Open juniors before lifting the trophy at Roland Garros. Clay appears to be his preferred surface, though he has shown technical quality across all conditions.
Miguel is part of a wave of young Brazilian players emerging in the wake of João Fonseca, fueling a rare run of talent that Brazil has not seen since the 1990s generation of Kuerten, Meligeni and Oncins.
