Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let the site "remember" preferences or information between visits.
Tênis do Brasil uses localStorage (a technology similar to cookies, but which doesn't send data to the server) to save your preferences. This page describes what's active today and what might be activated in the future.
What we use today
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Sent to server? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
slam-theme-v2 | localStorage | Saves the visual theme you chose (Brazil, Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon or US Open). Without this value, the default "Brazil" theme is applied. | Indefinite — until you clear your browser storage | No. Stays only on your device. |
td_notrack | localStorage | Signals that this device opted out of being counted in anonymous analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Value: "1". Only created if you activate this option. | Indefinite — until you clear your browser storage | No. Stays only on your device. Never sent to any server. |
Anonymous analytics
The portal uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool. It does not collect your name, email, full IP address, or any data that identifies you individually. What's measured: number of visits, most-viewed pages, approximate country of origin, and page-load speed metrics (Core Web Vitals).
Because this is anonymous, aggregated collection, it doesn't require prior consent — but we disclose it here for transparency. If you'd still rather not be counted, you can opt out: when that option is available in the interface, it will write the td_notrack key to your browser's localStorage (see the table above). You can also delete that key at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
What we do NOT use
- Cross-site tracking cookies
- Behavioral advertising cookies
- Social media pixels (Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc.)
- Third-party cookies for remarketing or targeting
Social media embeds
When an article embeds an official Instagram or X post, the platform's widget only loads after you click to view the post. We do not load those scripts automatically. Once loaded, Instagram (Meta) or X may use their own cookies — outside our control.
What might be activated in the future
If we activate advertising tools or any analytics that collects identifiable personal data, we will display a consent notice before any collection and update this policy. Cloudflare Web Analytics — already active — does not fall into that category, since it's anonymous and cookieless.
How to remove
To delete the preferences saved in your browser:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy → Clear data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage website data
After clearing, the theme will revert to the default (Brazil) on your next visit, and your analytics preference will be reset.
