Laura Pigossi
@LauraPigossi ↗Laura Pigossi is one of the most experienced Brazilian players on the WTA tour. Born in São Paulo on September 10, 1996, Pigossi turned professional in 2013 and has represented Brazil in international competition for more than a decade.
Her biggest moment on the global stage came at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (held in 2021), when she and Luisa Stefani won the bronze medal in doubles — the greatest Olympic achievement in Brazilian women’s tennis history.
In singles, Pigossi competes regularly on the WTA and ITF circuits, with results that have kept her among the world’s top 100. In doubles, she forms one of Brazilian tennis’s most established partnerships alongside Luisa Stefani.
