Alexander Blockx defeated Flavio Cobolli 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-0, 6-3 in the third round of the US Open men’s singles.

Blockx dropped the opening set in a tiebreak, then won the next three sets. The result puts him into the round of 16.

Cobolli had advanced by beating Tristan Schoolkate 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 in the second round. His tournament run ends with this loss.
