Pedro Boscardin was eliminated in the first round of the Bonn challenger, losing in straight sets to Austrian Jurij Rodionov.

The Brazilian faced the tournament’s third seed in Germany. Rodionov, currently ranked 136th in the world, won 6-3, 6-4.

Boscardin was unable to overcome the Austrian in his debut at the clay-court challenger.
