Tsitsipas is the 22nd seed in the draw. Fonseca entered the main draw based on his ranking, according to TenisBrasil. The match pits the Greek former top-10 player against the Brazilian prospect.
Other tournaments
Luis Britto and Natan Rodrigues are competing in doubles at the Istanbul Challenger in Turkey. The pair, seeded fourth, open against India’s Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and China’s Aoran Wang.
