ITIA publishes Vondrousova's private messages in doping test refusal case

The International Tennis Integrity Agency has published private messages from Marketa Vondrousova as part of its case details, showing how the Czech player refused a doping test in December 2025.
Vondrousova was suspended for four years last month for refusing to undergo an anti-doping test. The ITIA made her private conversations public when releasing details of the case. According to TenisBrasil, the messages detail the moment the 2023 Wimbledon champion said “no” to the doping control. The four-year suspension was applied in July 2026, following the December 2025 incident.
The ITIA’s decision to publish private communications accompanies its disclosure of case specifics against the player.
