Madison Keys is in the semifinals of the Cincinnati Open after beating Sara Bejlek in the quarterfinals, controlling the match from start to finish.

Keys broke serve twice in the first set and closed it 6-3, leaving Bejlek no time to react.

The Czech had reached the quarterfinals after steamrolling Aryna Sabalenka, the world No. 1, in the round of 16. Keys came in with a win over Wang Xiyu.

Keys awaits the definition of her next opponent.
