Mac Kiger and Aleksandar Kovacevic won their first-round men’s doubles match at the US Open, beating Jenson Brooksby and Marcos Giron 7-6(6), 7-5.

The pair took the match in straight sets and eliminated Brooksby and Giron from the tournament.

With the win, Kiger and Kovacevic remain in the main draw.
