Monfils was honored in an on-court ceremony marking his departure from the Canadian tournament, according to TenisBrasil.

The French Tennis Federation announced Wednesday that Monfils will receive a wildcard to compete at the 2026 US Open, which will serve as his final career tournament. He is currently in his last season as a professional player.
