Jasmine Paolini has pulled out of the WTA 500 in Washington and the WTA 1000 in Toronto due to an ongoing foot problem.
Italy’s top-ranked player, ranked 15th in the world, announced the withdrawal on Instagram. The issue has bothered her since 2026.
The decision removes her from two significant stops on the summer hard-court circuit. She had been scheduled to play Washington before heading to Toronto.
Paolini has not announced a timeline for her return to competition.
