The Brazilian-Australian pair lost in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5, in a match lasting one hour and 23 minutes, according to TenisBrasil. The duo was unable to advance past their opening match at the clay-court event in Austria.

Neumayer and Schwaerzler, who received wildcard entry into the doubles draw, secured the victory on home soil. The defeat marks an early end to Romboli’s campaign at the tournament.
