Behar and Romboli Stop in Doubles Semifinal at Quebec Challenger

Ariel Behar and Fernando Romboli’s campaign at the Quebec Challenger ended in the doubles semifinal. They won two matches before falling to Canadians Justin Boulais and Duncan Chan: 6-1, 1-6, and 10-6 in the match tiebreak.
The debut required patience. Behar and Romboli beat P. Nouza and N. Oberleitner 7-6(5), 3-6, and 10-8.
In the quarterfinals, the matchup was one-sided. Karl Poling and Calum Puttergill offered no resistance: 6-1 and 6-2.
The Fall in the Semifinal
The semifinal swung sharply. Behar and Romboli opened with 6-1 and seemed a step from the final. Boulais and Chan responded with a 6-1 second set.
It came down to the match tiebreak. The Canadians closed it 10-6.
