Fernando Romboli reaches Newport doubles final on grass

Fernando Romboli advanced to the doubles final at the Newport challenger alongside Australian John-Patrick Smith.
The pair secured another victory this week to reach the title match, according to TenisBrasil. Newport remains one of the oldest tournaments in international tennis and formerly hosted the U.S. National Championships, the precursor to today’s US Open.
The tournament was downgraded from ATP 250 status to the challenger circuit. Romboli is seeking another grass-court title this season.
