Grigor Dimitrov has withdrawn from the ATP 250 event in Los Cabos, Mexico, after suffering a leg injury during practice.

The Bulgarian, a former world No. 3 currently ranked 140th, was forced to pull out of the hard-court tournament due to the physical problem sustained in training, according to TenisBrasil. The severity of the injury and any potential recovery timeline were not disclosed in the initial report.

Dimitrov, 35, had been one of the more experienced players scheduled to compete in the Mexican event. His withdrawal leaves a notable gap in the tournament field.
