Igor Marcondes won his first-round match at the Tampere challenger in Finland, while João Lucas Reis and Pedro Boscardin were eliminated in their opening matches.
Marcondes came through qualifying to reach the main draw and was the last of the three Brazilian players to take the court on Tuesday. He was the only one of the trio to advance past the first round.
Reis and Boscardin both lost their opening matches at the Finnish challenger. Reis is from Pernambuco, while Boscardin is from Santa Catarina.
Marcondes maintained his momentum from qualifying to secure his place in the next round, according to TenisBrasil.
