Two Brazilian players advanced to quarterfinals at separate South American tournaments on Wednesday.

Enzo Kohlmann, 19, from São Paulo, secured his place in the quarterfinals of the M15 in San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina, by defeating local player Julian Cundom 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 on clay. Cundom is ranked 1,007th in the world.

Matheus Pucinelli, also from São Paulo, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Challenger in Bogotá, Colombia, after defeating fellow Brazilian Eduardo Ribeiro 6-1, 6-4 in 75 minutes. Ribeiro, from Rio Grande do Sul, was the tournament’s eighth seed.

Kohlmann continues at the M15 in Argentina, while Pucinelli’s next match is in the Bogotá Challenger quarterfinals.
