Stefani and Dabrowski reach Wimbledon quarterfinals, dropping just five games to Hunter and McNally
The second-seeded Brazilian-Canadian pair defeated Storm Hunter and Caty McNally 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the Wimbledon 2026 women's doubles quarterfinals.
Luisa Stefani and Gabriela Dabrowski advanced to the Wimbledon 2026 women’s doubles quarterfinals with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Storm Hunter and Caty McNally, conceding just five games.
The second seeds controlled the match from the opening game. Hunter and McNally struggled to establish themselves in rallies as the Brazilian-Canadian pair closed down space early, converting that dominance into a one-sided first set before sealing the second without facing a significant threat.
Stefani’s third Wimbledon quarterfinal
For Stefani, the run marks her third women’s doubles quarterfinal at the All England Club, underlining consistent results at the Grand Slam. Dabrowski, her Canadian partner, shares the seeding that has made them one of the favorites in the draw.
Their quarterfinal opponent will be determined by third-round matches still in progress in the women’s doubles draw.
