Fifteen-year-old Xinran Sun of China advanced to the Wimbledon girls’ final with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Janae Preston of the United States.

The top-ranked junior in the world dominated the 14th-seeded American in Friday’s semifinal. Sun needed just two sets to dispatch her opponent and book her place in the championship match.

This marks the Chinese teenager’s second consecutive Grand Slam final appearance. She finished as runner-up at Roland Garros 2026 and now has a chance to capture her first junior Slam title at the All England Club.

Sun will compete for the Wimbledon girls’ singles trophy in Saturday’s final.
