Alejandro Davidovich Fokina dropped the opening set but dominated the next two to defeat Fabian Marozsan 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 in the Mallorca Championships semifinals, booking a spot in Saturday’s final on home grass.
After conceding the first set, the Spaniard took control from the second set onward and gave Marozsan no real path back into the match, closing out the win 6-4 in the third.
Other side of the draw
Ugo Humbert and Zizou Bergs contested the second semifinal for the remaining place in the final. The winner will face Davidovich Fokina in the championship match.
